[Asterisk-Dev] Voice XML APIs

Can anyone tell me if there is a plan to implement APIs for a Voice XML
implementation? I am have been looking into using OpenVXI for my Voice XML
implementation, however I was hoping I could get some help in writting the
APIs for *, if anyone is interested. Can someone help me out or is this
out of the scope of * development? Thanks in advance.
