Product Manager/Software Engineer
 

Primary Job Responsibilities: 

 

  a.. Management of all software/hardware comprising a VoIP PBX telephone system. 
  b.. Responsible for the development of telephone system modifications. 
  c.. Responsible for the development of application software products ancillary to the telephone system. 
  d.. Provide online support to telephone system customers. 
  e.. Provide post-sales support to product installers in the field.   
 Secondary Job Responsibilities:

 

  a.. Set-up and maintain internal company network including network server, web server, email server, workstations, data/print services and telephone system. 
  b.. Develop and maintain company web site.
 Qualifications:

 

  a.. Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related field. 
  b.. 8+ years experience as software engineer. 
  c.. 2+ years experience in a Linux networking/application development environment. 
  d.. Experience with telecommunications technology and the Asterisk PBX.  
  e.. Proficient in the C programming language as well as Linux-based development tools. 
  f.. Experienced in formal application development project management. 
  g.. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. 
  h.. Must be a self-starter, well organized and operate with minimal supervision.




Product Installation Manager 

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

 

·        Install and configure telephone system product at customer sites.

·        Implement other application system products sold to customers.

·        Conduct pre-sales customer site telephony surveys.

·        Assist in sales proposals.

·        Approximately 50% travel required.

 

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

 

·        Assist in the development of system modifications/improvements.

·        Assist in the development of application software products.

·        Assist in providing online or on-site customer support.

 

Qualifications:

 

  a.. Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related field. 
  b.. 5+ years experience as software engineer. 
  c.. 2+ years experience in a Linux networking/application development environment. 
  d.. Extensive knowledge of Linux operating system and networking facilities. 
  e.. Experience with telecommunications technology and the Asterisk PBX or competing VoIP solutions.  
  f.. Ability to communicate effectively and operate with minimal supervision at customer sites. 
  g.. Experience with the C programming language as well as Linux-based development tools.
