> The samples have been updated.  Not sure about removing stdexten as part of this change.
IIRC, I modified stdexten in extensions.conf.sample to use Gosub back when Asterisk 11 was released.  Macro was deprecated well before that release but still used in many places within Asterisk without a Gosub replacement before v11 was released.
