Re your Python 2.7 comments, I don't think it's viable or worthy of our time to try to support it concurrently with 3. Once the support for 3 is sorted, I think we just have to pull the band aid and call it 3 only. Although getting 2.7 to work in the first place is pain, so 3 will be much less pain.
