Greetings!

Might I suggest using something like bindep[1] to express your OS dependencies in a single location, eg: bindep.txt.  Then, your automation could be writing around it for each distro. As an example, here is how we support dependencies with zuul[2]. Here is an ansible role you could also use[3]
