On calls to analog equipment, audio is not cut through until signaling is complete. The patch I am submitting allows a configuration option which will allow audio to be cut through immediately on selected channels, in order to allow the caller to hear the call setup process.

This patch is useful to those wishing to troubleshoot or otherwise interact with electromechanical switching equipment, where inband audio during call setup is the expected norm.

In addition to Asterisk, there will also be patches submitted for dahdi-linux and dahdi-tools. All three patches are required in order for this feature to work.
