Shaun Ruffell commented on DAHLIN-368:
--------------------------------------

Anthony, I've updated the xpp drivers and compile tested them against 2.6.32-754.11.1.el6.x86_64, 3.10.0-957.10.1.el7.x86_64, linux-headers-4.15.0-46-generic (Ubuntu 18.04.2), and 5.0.3-200.fc29.x86_64.

I've no way to really test them, so hopefully they will not crash your system. Again, I do feel a little off playing around with the xpp timekeeping functions since there is a warning about how sensitive it is to the time, but alas...

The changes were pushed onto the http://git.asterisk.org/gitweb/?p=team/sruffell/dahdi-linux.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/for-5.0 branch.

> Linux kernel 5.0 has changed the timekeeping interfaces to fix the 2038 problem.
> I believe the drivers should be standardized on ktime for internal time, but before making any changes to the app drivers, I was looking for some early feedback on the proposed approach.
> The work is currently at http://git.asterisk.org/gitweb/?p=team/sruffell/dahdi-linux.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/for-5.0 if anyone has any comments.
