make: *** No rule to make target `makeopts', needed by
`menuselect/makeopts'. S top.

This is becuase the configure script was not run.

Anyway, IIRC there were some adaptations for some SUSE versions in recent
trunk.  vitaliykrikun, could you re-test it?
