Summary: Standard macro's cannot be customized
Description:
It is not possible to customize the standard macro's (macro-stdexten,
macro-stdexten-followme, macro-pagingintercom)
On every login, they will be reset to default.
Since there is no option to select a different macro set other then the
default for a user, this is an issue.

this sounds very useful. Flexibility is always a desire for this project.
However, there are times in the GUI that it assumes certain
functions/variables exist in these contexts and those would also have to be
managed dynamically, increasing the complexity of this feature to,
possibly, enough to never put effort into producing it.
However, there is a side approach that most users end up taking. These
contexts are managed by the GUI in javascript code. And while its not
exactly the most user friendly, coding-savvy users can modify the
javascript to change these macros as they like.
I'm leaving this feature request open for now so we can discuss further.
However, I don't have any plan to adopt the feature, unless either a well
tested patch is submitted, or I'm convinced otherwise. Try the side
approach :-).
Also, for unpatch'd feature requests, we recommend using the mailing list.
This gets more of the community's involvment, as many don't surf the issue
tracker as they do read the mailing list. (The mailing list is also
archived for those who might google features).
