Summary: Analog trunks dead after gui activate or cli restart
now.
Description:
I'am running asterisk 1.4.19 on a clean install of dedian Etch. (downloaded
and installed on 15 april 2008)
I have a small system (1 TDM400 2xFXO & 2xFXS)
It works fine with outbound call's via FXO.
After making small updates in the Gui and make the activate command some
strange things happen with the outbound call's
Normal working:
dail number -> short wait (3s) -> ring tone -> dialed PSTN nr is
ringing.
After Activate:
dail number -> no wait -> ring tone -> notings happen on PSTN.
Problem also comes after the cli command restart now in exactly the same
way.
After a reboot all is working normal again.
Also a /etc/init.d/asterisk restart is solved the problem.
Additional a putty log during the activate (sorry for the cntr char's).
Wico

See,
Your problem is that analog lines are maintained by the GUI!
You need to make your changes in USERS.CONF!
If users.conf and zapata.conf is read, it will cause conflict.
Do not use zapata.conf if you are using the GUI.
