FreeBSD != bsd; pkgsrc and OpenBSD have 1.2.17.

If the maintainer is unresponsive (I saw there is a PR open with patches
for the update to 1.2.16), perhaps a prod on the freebsd-ports mailing list
may help. It is a security fix, after all...
