[Asterisk-bsd] Hello?

I think the move to GNU configure solves some of the release
engineering problems for FreeBSD.  It will make it certain things
far easier for the FreeBSD port. 

For one thing, it will greatly reduce the difference between installation
results for the port vs installing a snapshot.  And it will be easier to see
what the differences are.

To the extent that this makes it almost as easy for people to install a
snapshot (such as the current beta) as it is to install a port, it should do
a lot to make it easier for us to get feedback about changes occurring
in the asterisk sources.
