[Asterisk-bsd] Version of FreeBSD?

i struggled with getting a threaded asterisk to work with libpri and the 
zaptel drivers under 4.x, before abandoning it altogether. there was an 
issue with the way freebsd's libc_r handled locking that didnt quite make 
it work the way it should have. everything else (FXS/FXO, SIP, IAX2) all 
worked fine with the exception of the T1/E1 interfaces.

moving towards 6.x would be a much better bet for most folk for two reasons:

1. asterisk works much better together with the zaptel-bsd drivers
2. most improvements at the OS level are being done on 6.x with 4.x only 
getting security bugfixes.
