[Asterisk-bsd] high CPU usage

Olle,

The easy thing to say is move over to FreeBSD 5.3/4 as this uses a proper 
threaded library. The rentrant library used on 4.x has all sorts of issues. 
One thing you could try is instead of linking with -lc try linking with the 
linux threads port.
