It seems to be OK on the single 1.6GHz processor on the laptop.  The
boxes it hung are both dual processor, and both slower -- one has
700MHz CPUs, one 350MHz.  All three are running the exact same
versions of NetBSD-current, Asterisk-current, and zaptel-netbsd.
