Is that in the code of conduct for this mailing list? I tried to find 
one but couldn't. How many emails is spam? In your opinion it's 5. For 
others it might be 3 or 30. Just because you feel that Yaro's postings 
are spammy that does not mean you get to decide how many emails Yaro (or 
others) can send to this mailing list. Maybe the list admin can pitch in 
here what constitutes spam and what does not. That would make it clear 
for everybody.

I like to see what companies offer too. I just don't agree with you that 
a couple of emails is over-promoting.

I use the search function too but I also feel it's easy to scan the 
Subject lines. The question is who gets to decide? Afaik the list admin 
does so maybe you could take it up with him.
