[asterisk-biz] Sales Tax -

I purchased a portion of a company that does Hosted PBX Services over
Asterisk.
We have several customers in Kansas City, one in Texas and one in Tennessee.
There are ones and two's across the states here and there.
The company that I purchased this from, looking through all the invoices,
they did not charge sales tax.

Do I have to charge my customers sales tax if my services are from SIP
providers like compartners, or Level 3 or global crossings?

The way that it was told to me was, I am a Nomatic Voice over IP company.  I
am asking this as a very General question.
