Rule of thumb:
4-5 hours to download and install software.
2 hours to program
1 hour to test
1-2 hours for training and fine tuning.
If you compare this to a traditional TDM digital telephone system, I have seen anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500 for installation, programming and training. This, of course, assumes that the incoming C.O. lines are terminated near the Asterisk server, and that the network cabling is in place. I have heard compelling arguements over whether to have separate voice and data networks, or to share the services on 1.
Hope this helps a bit.
