can a moderator do something about this, this is the 2nd one I have
seen, and really I dont want to see a daily one as they get the digest
delivered.  

If you have a vacation script, out of office auto responder, or anything
that is going to send stuff out, exempt the mailing lists you are on, or
better yet create a list only email address so that other list members
dont have to deal with your notification of whatever.  And remember
anything sent to the list does go out to a considerable number of
people, so its bandwidth pollution to do things like this.

As a side note, if you have problems responding to customer requests, it
may not be the best idea to advertise that on a business list in the
field you operate in.
