The outside processors usually do it electronically, which is required
if you want to get paid in any timely fashion.  Had a friend at one time
who ran a small LEC somewhere, he was sending paper invoices which just
sat on someones desk for month and months.  Switched to an electronic
biller and instantly he was paid including all the past due stuff.
