[asterisk-biz] Digium, Polycom, and Netxusa Cutting Us Out?!?

Sheesh. Maybe it's back to Cisco and Enterprise Telephony
integration.......

I still think this is a great space. Just remember gang, the key to success
is acquiring clients. At the end of the day, they are funding the whole
chain. If we all build strong presence, aggressive sales and marketing and
excellent post sale support, clients will never know who asterisk, NetxUSA
and Digium are. And remember this, for the last 25 years, there have been
at least 100 PBX offerings in the marketplace. And many companies have made
Lot's of money selling/reselling all of them. these guys need the channel
or else they have to hire a million field engineers and support techs. Just
remember, we could all defect back to the 800 pound gorilla and leave
Asterisk and Digium to deal with it all with direct sales. And trust me,
their investors will not like that at all. if you are a VAR, you have more
power than you think. A wise old man once told me "He who controls the
customer controls the deal".
