Ok this is fine.. I can accept problems if MY DNS servers are down.
However, in the case I spoke of.. we were doing an early morning upgrade and
for whatever reason a company we were using for 800 origination had all of
their servers (8 I believe) out of DNS at that moment.. I never did find out
what happened... so in this case another companies problem caused our server
to hang.... to me that's kind of a bug... and a problem... but anyway...
this thread has gotten OT :)


Have you looked and seen how many bugs were fixed? I count 33 changes

EXACTLY MY POINT!!!   There shouldn't be that many bugs.   Look at QMail for
an example of ONE PERSON who is writing software that is secure and bug free
as well as free and open source.
