Mike,

I am getting following :

         g723   gsm  ulaw  alaw  g726 adpcm  slin lpc10  g729 speex  ilbc
g723     -     4     3     3     3     3     2     4    15     -    15
g729    33     4     3     3     3     3     2     4     -     -    15

With this new codec.
I think something is seriously fried up on your box, or probably you 
are running it on a low processsor box ?

Oh one more thing, It got it compiled properly on a AMD Athlon(TM) XP 
2400+ too.
the above stats are for the same machine.
