So, I will ignore the other discussions about the PAP2 and various 
FUD and post something useful.  Please don't bother to send your 
flames, or admonitions of "DMCA", or claims that there is a troll 
living under my bad.

Here is a link to someone who is offering to unlock early versions of 
the ATA-186 which have been locked by some providers.  This is not 
the same as the DTMF key sequence unlock, folks - this is some 
chip-twiddling to get the passcode.  Send him your locked chip, get 
back an unlocked chip.
