Trixter,

Well I guess the only way to get functioning DID #s from DIDx.org is
to NOT PAY FOR THEM, and have them provide Free DID #s to the general public, like they did for you.

I spent $, had Amex refund my $, and to this DAY, they are still billing
me, even though they deleted my account.

They told me they were going to reactivate my account with a clean slate, remember, I had AMEX refund my $ from DIDx.org, and they are
STILL billing me to this date.

So, customers are probably safer NOT spending $ on DIDx.org like you did Trixter, because, once you do, you 'll be chasing your $ like I and
American Express had too. :(

That might be a better strategy for them to provide the DID #s first, and earn the $ later with their ongoing Errors and all the inaccuracies they produce/sell.

Good going Trixter!!! You saved yourself a bad experience by not providing DIDx.org with your $.

Wish I had done the same thing by making them earn the $ first!!!!

Martin

Didx.org doated a did for the sacramento asterisk users group. It
worked right off the bat, it appears to be more stable than some of my
other ones (granted that box has only free services on it) I just tested
it to be sure its still up many days later, and it is. I added
directory assistance so I can eaisly test it from 800-free-411 and no
problems.

I have only had this one experience with didx.org, it is current
experience, I do not know if others are basing their decisions off older
experiences or not.
