Does one pay for inbound minutes? If not, $66 for a year... that's $5.50/month for unlimited voice service. I understand there are different business models, different this and different that. However, the consumer doesn't care about business models. $5.50 is a whole lot cheaper than my $30, no matter the other differences.

For one I believe it is unlimited SkypeOut. If you want SkypeIn, you will need to purchase a DID @ $2.99/per month. When you add that into the mix, it is not really that great of a deal for the typical residential users.

I don't use Skype, nor do I intend to. However, does anyone know of any gotchas in addition to general Skype behavior of the new $30 annual unlimited plan? How can a $25 or $30 a month unlimited plan compete with that?
