Herman, 


   Im in Tampa which translates in American Indian for "Lightning" no I
can tell you you need something.  We use ALL APC3000 to 5000 series
UPS's to power our equipment.  During the hurricanes we were able to
stay online for about 20 minutes before the generator kicked in.
