Heh.. you're clearly a Yankee,
Setting up merchant accounts outside the US is a tad trickier that you
would think, but there are options but most of them a terrifically
expensive.
Paypal is an option and people do trust them.
So for a small operation where the initial startup costs are an issue,
it's definitely the way to go, until he can afford the full monty.
