Yes what you see on our demo is purely a post paid billing 
system.

Perhaps it may look fairly simple but maybe there's more
there then you think.

My typical customers can have 3 services, for example:
- 10 euro of bonus calls from referring other customers,
- A 1000 minute per month subscription package,
- 10 euro of Pay As You Go credit for destinations not in 
the 1000 minutes.

That's fine but the complexity arises when something like 
the following happens.

- Customer places a 2 hour call to Australia with the 
following balances:
 - 30 minutes of subscription minutes
 - 0.20 euro of bonus credit
 - 8 euro of Pay as You Go credit

You have to be sure to correctly bill each service and 
provide a billed record to the customer.

And then of course the call could cross a Peak/Off Peak 
boundary and/or be to
a destination where the customer has been given a special 
rate.

It's not rocket science but it's not trivial either (if it 
was you probably wouldn't be reading a thread
about a PBX Billing Engine).
