[Asterisk-biz] dialing a remote 911 number

Uh, no, they don't really point to a real PSTN number. It doesn't work
that way.

And, no, there isn't some magic number you can dial from California to
get the Manhattan E911 center.

Does any one know a list of these numbers, or a way to dial a remote 911
number from 
another city, ie if i want to call the manhattan 911 number from
california, is there a way 
to do that ?

If there is a way to do that, i think e911 would be very very easy to
comply.
