Paypal Pro isn't a merchant account, although they do a pretty good job of 
misleading people to think that it is.  Not only do you have to also offer 
regular paypal along with the direct payment (using particular wording to 
entice people to use paypal), but you cannot store any of the billing 
information, which by their definition includes things like address and 
email address.  Of course they might not actually enforce it that much, 
those clauses are probably there just in case they want to use them, but 
they are there nonetheless.  Is it worth $20 per month?  Maybe so to some, 
but a merchant account it is not.
