Define "backbone connection".
Hint: If you are doing Voice over Public Intarweb, you are taking chances,
no matter who you are buying from.
Thus, serious people have their own transport connections to their
customers *and* vendors with guaranteed quality of service. This is why we
have presence in most NYC carrier hotels and can hit any other carrier
hotel in the nation at a reasonable cost.
