The UserEvent functionality is on another issue -
https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-22697. Right now it needs
the ability to POST JSON up with requests, so Paul's issue in
https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-22685 has to come first.

Is Paul's suggestion of using syslog or logstash (which can aggregate logs
from multiple sources) a valid work around?
