Both of these seem to be tasks best suited to the ITSP, not really an
item for the core project.  Each ITSP individually customizes these
to separate themselves from their competitors.

This seems like a good topic for AstriDevCon.

This sounds like a wishlist item for the bounty section of the Wiki and
could probably be done without too much debate.  I'd really like to see
more actual design issues at AstriDevCon, not individual wishlists.
