Hello everyone!

On December 15th, 2013, Asterisk 10 officially reached its End of Life [1]. As a Standard Release, Asterisk 10 received one year of bug fix support, followed by one year of security fix support. Users of Asterisk 10 should consider moving to Asterisk 11 at their earliest possible convenience. Asterisk 11 is a Long Term Support (LTS) Release, and will continue to receive bug fix support until October 25th, 2016, with security fixes continuing through October 25th, 2017.

We'd like to thank everyone who contributed bug reports, test reports, patches, and features to Asterisk 10. Asterisk 10 contained many new features (ConfBridge! T.38 Gateway! Core support for wideband audio! Media format attribute negotiation!) that helped significantly advance the Asterisk project. Asterisk 11 has been a successful LTS release in large part due to the hard work that was done in Asterisk 10.

So, to everyone who helped make Asterisk 10 successful, thank you!

Matt

[1] https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Versions
