</div>Broadcom invented some SIP NOTIFY extensions to cover this case -<br>
Several "open" SIP handsets support the Broadcom extensions, which<br>
revolve around sending a NOTIFY "Event: hold" or "Event: talk"<br>
<br>
Asterisk does not support these NOTIFY messages at present, though I<br>
expect they could be added reasonably simply.<br></blockquote><div><br>Googling with "NOTIFY "Event: hold", I found a doc (Broadworks sip access side extension) which exactly match what I'm after : a couple of events to "start or resume autoanswer".<br>
