I haven't heard if this fixed it yet. However I was seeing the echo cancelers loaded before so I never realized I'd have to do this. Its a FreePBX install also so I checked all the include files and didn't see a reference to these values anywhere.<br>

to explicitly set echocancel=yes in my configs, before 1.6 it was<br>
enabled by default.<br>
