I assume thtat you've already recorded the message, and the out commented the Record app.. try adding .gsm to the playback, to ensure that * doesn't look for other formats.. and according to <a href="http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+cmd+Record">http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+cmd+Record</a> you should use file:format in the Record app, not file.format<br>
