</div>OK, so transfers are involved; that could have some effect on the audio<br>
path configuration, especially if transcoding was in use for the voice<br>
call before it was transferred.<br>
</blockquote></div><br>It was all G.711u (ulaw) from the SIP provider to the phone. It looks
as though Asterisk is having a problem converting the fax (SLIN) to ulaw, for some reason.<br>
