<div>Correct - tripwire does need to be setup beforehand, and its not the most simple thing to setup *properly*. After the fact... you are basically out of luck unless you are using a binary-based distribution and want to re-download all the packages and compare the hashs... but thats simply too time consuming and reinstalling is faster and more reliable.</div>
