Hi,

I would be interested in any reports of anyone getting a T.38
FAX to
send or receive successfully with Zoiper. I've tried to test
my T.38
implementation against more than one revision of Zoiper, and I
yet to
see it behave sanely.

I could receive yesterday from Zoiper 2.18 Windows free edition
with ReceiveFAX installed with latest Asterisk 1.6.X.
Would you like more details ?

To be more precise, I only tried once and I wouldn't swear T.38 mode was used (I've checked) : maybe ReceiveFax would allow G711 inbound faxes.

The option is t38pt_udptl = yes, and has to be set in both the global part and in the peer. The option was t38pt_udptl in 1.4 and I don't think it got changed in 1.6.
Also, you can open a ticket with us (zoiper support) on support@zoiper.com <mailto:support@zoiper.com>, and if you provide us with some packet captures, we should be able to diagnose the issue

As I used Free edition, I didn't dare to open tickets.
I'll try to open one with appropriate setting within the next few days.

Regards
