The version of chan_mobile in trunk is only compatible with the trunk version of Asterisk, not the 1.4 branch. Whoever maintains the patches on <a href="http://chan-mobile.org">chan-mobile.org</a> will not to update in order for you to compile the trunk version of chan_mobile against Asterisk
