<div><SPAN style="font-size:10pt;">1.4 has many new features and some areas re-written.  This makes the code base less stable but usable.  The feature set is complete for this therefore, it was released.  Now it is up to us bold souls to verify it works.  At some time, when the 1.2 base starts to wane, I would see the 1.2 going away, just not now.</SPAN></div>

<div><SPAN style="font-size:10pt;">1.6 is where new development/features are being planed.  I hope they finally write the SIP stack so it lines up with the SIP specification instead of being a adjunct to the IAX code.  I am not looking for SER type functionality but better performance and support for things like CallInfo messages being passed from Origin to Destination.</SPAN></div>
