server that you specify automatically upon boot. If you don't include
other files there, there shouldn't be any configuration wipe, and you

there's no way to pull the current config directly from Polycom IP
phones. You can connect to the internal web server on the phone, and
get/set some parameters through that interface, but not _all_ the
settings. You really need to start with a standard set of xml
configuration files, an FTP server, and start from
