<div>Hi Dmitry,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>thank you SO much for the help. No one else seems to be stuck with the SQL Server, Unfortunately you and I are. Don't know your reasons but I had no choice but to use that. Anyway, the inability to see the "view" was related to a cross-permissions issue as the vmuser view is being created from another database and the "asterisk" user didn't have any permissions in that database. I'd have thought that if "asterisk" is the owner of the "voicemail" database then it should have the ability to read all tables within that database even if it was a view from another database. Anyway, all resolved now.

<div> </div>
<div>THANK YOU again for the help :D</div>
<div>Regards,<br>\R</div>
