server for asterisk, we are looking at installing it in about 7 locations (all
within an hour of each other). I prefer Dell servers, but have seen there
is some incompatibility with digium hardware. ( <a

anyone have any results using Dell servers?
Also what are the opinions as far as redundancy, should I go full bore with
dual power supplies, hardware raid, RHEL, etc? Looking at our
existing phone system (nortel and norstar), they do not have redundant power
supplies and the voicemail harddrive isn't raid'ed, would definately be cheaper
to go with a regular PC and Fedora (and keep a spare one on the shelf), just
curious what others have done.
