<TT>I use a Cisco 7960. I described my symptoms as sonar pings. These<BR>
noises seemed to correspond to echo on my phones connected to Zap lines<BR>
(FXS). I adjusted the rxgain and txgain on my X100P and echo was<BR>
significantly reduced on ALL my phones, SIP and Zap alike. <BR>

These are my current settings:<BR>
echocancel=yes<BR>
echocancelwhenbridged=yes<BR>
echotraining=yes<BR>

rxgain=8.0<BR>
txgain=0.0<BR>
<BR>
Haven't had much need to change them as the wife stopped complaining!<BR>
