<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I'm trying to record a video in asterisk.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">In order to do that i use the record aplication: record(/tmp/video:h263).</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">After i call the extension using messenger 4.7 i get a h263 file. </FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I was wondering if asterisk recognizing the h263 format is the only</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">thing it needs in order to get a good image or do i also need to get the</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">h263 codec (if so where can i get it).</FONT>
