<DIV>I wonder if there are any members of this list that have successfuly managed to get incoming PSTN call detection with a Linejack card and Asterisks here in the UK, and if so, if they would be willing to give me some advice/some things to try.</DIV>

<DIV>Basically, I cannot get Asterisks to detect an incoming call from the PSTN, although strangely, if I first run the Quicknet SDK utility "ring_detect" with the correct cadence setting, I can get the card to detect an incoming ring. If I then quit the ring_detect utility and immediately start Asterisks, I can then get Asterisks to detect a ring.</DIV>

<DIV>Without running the ring_detect utlility first, Atserisks will not detect the incoming call at all.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I'm running a RedHat 8.0 box with the latest versions of the quicknet drivers (from the openh323 CVS repository).</DIV>
