[asterisk-users] safe_asterisk ?

Hi List,

What do it mean safe_asterisk ? I read too much about it but how it's works
as Daemon process?
When We install asterisk with the help of .tar file then safe_asterisk is
install or not ? If yes then how can we work with that ?
I am too much confusing..
